Lou Smith, Group President of K. Hovnanian Homes, brings more than 25 years of homebuilding experience to K. Hovnanian including significant roles in operations, land acquisition, land development, and product development. Mr. Smith is responsible for leading the Northern California, Southern California and Arizona operations. He joined K. Hovnanian as President of the Arizona Region in 2007. Prior to Hovnanian, his homebuilding career spanned several public and private homebuilders where he held positions of increasing responsibility. Mr. Smith has the expertise necessary to strategically position K. Hovnanian in the most desirable geographic locations with well-designed, value-engineered products. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Homebuilders Association of Central Arizona for the past six years.
